Quick start
The fastest path from an empty workspace to a published document.
Recommended flow
- Create a document from the dashboard.
- Define document settings and supported languages.
- Add sections and arrange them into the reading structure.
- Fill each section with content, links, related materials, or API details.
- Export the final HTML file.
Practical advice
- Start with the target reader and the outcome they need.
- Keep section names stable because they become the navigation spine.
- Treat export as a delivery step, not as a formatting workaround.
Import existing materials
If the source content already exists, you do not need to rebuild it by hand. In a page section editor, open the File menu and choose Import Word document, Import PDF document, or Import Markdown file.
- Word import accepts
.docand.docxfiles. - PDF import helps recover text from distributed manuals, guides, and archived materials.
- Markdown import accepts
.md,.markdown,.mdown, and.mkd. - If the section is empty, the imported content becomes the main body. If the editor already contains text, the imported material is inserted into the current content.
- Review headings, tables, and complex formatting after import, especially for PDFs and older Word files.
